The Lago Lindo Parent Association is the fundraising entity for Lago Lindo School.
From September 2025 to June 2026, we raised $6,529.01 through hot lunch sales, a Purdys fundraiser, spirit wear sale and popcorn sales. Our casino event raised $82,343.98.
Since the beginning of this school year, we gave Lago Lindo School $40,101.39 to support student field trips ($25 per student), Indigenous flutes for grade 5 students, agendas, chrome books and tech subscriptions, lighting for school concerts, buses for the running club, grade 6 grad gifts, freezies for sports days, treats for teachers and appreciation lunches, end of year barbeque/pizza lunches for the school and classroom incidentals ($250 per teacher).
In Previous Years
Some items our Parent Association has funded through fundraisers in previous years:
- $25/student towards field trips
- Bussing for club trips such as Running Room Games and choir trips
- Agendas
- Rental of lighting and extra chairs for winter concerts
$5,000 towards school technology subscriptions such as RazKids and Blooket - $3,184 towards new microphones for school productions and events
- $750 towards differentiated reading materials for Division 2 students
- Fidget bands for desks
- $1,500 towards a second Boxcar and One Eyed Jacks math games presentation
- A portion of tickets and busses to hockey hooky
- Music stands
- $5,000 for library books/inclusion literature
